The International Bureau of Personal Superlatives has launched an emergency audit after Travis Kelce reportedly called his secretive early-July wedding to Taylor Swift “the best night of my life,” a seemingly innocent phrase that insiders now fear may have recklessly demoted every birthday, championship celebration and particularly satisfying restaurant reservation that came before it.
Officials from the obviously fictional agency descended upon Madison Square Garden, where the ceremony reportedly took place, carrying clipboards and the grave expressions usually reserved for seating-chart revisions. But here is where it gets INTERESTING, darling... investigators must now determine whether “best” means best emotionally, best logistically or merely best among nights held in multipurpose arenas.
“You cannot casually place one evening atop the lifetime standings without reviewing the tapes, the cake and all available parking receipts,” said fictional bureau commissioner Lavinia Scorecard, who exists solely for this joke.
The audit could take months, although preliminary findings confirm the wedding night remains comfortably ahead of every Tuesday.
