"—and that's when we realized Marx was basically pre-seed," said Praxis Labs founder Brandt Kessel, describing the pitch deck that closed his Saturday funding round.
Kessel's company claims its model has ended the conflict between labor and capital. It did this by reclassifying every worker at the firm as a vendor, then hiring an AI agent to negotiate against them on rates.
The agent won all nineteen negotiations. Kessel calls this "proof of alignment."
"We've abolished the wage relation. Now it's an invoice relation. Completely different power dynamic, totally flat org."
The platform runs on what Praxis describes as a general intellect layer, which is a shared document nobody may edit. Kessel says the document already knows more about the means of production than any of his staff, who no longer have access to it.
