The Pentagon has updated its care compact for the USS Abraham Lincoln. The update is one extra page. It contains the word the last version forgot.
That word is "shower". It is printed once and laminated. A note from the new Desk of Afloat Amenities says the sheet will rotate through the ship as duties allow.
I wrote here when the forty-page compact omitted the noun entirely. The sequel has arrived on schedule, and on plastic.
"Morale is a communications product," the note said. "The noun has been issued. Further water is a separate workstream."
