RuPaul's Drag Race UK is leaving the BBC for WOW Presents Plus, returning as All Stars in 2027. SnarkWire can reveal the two sides have now agreed custody of the runway. The BBC gets it three weekends a year and has already been seen out with a canal documentary.

RuPaul's Drag Race UK and the BBC signed a custody agreement for the runway on Tuesday, sources close to the situation confirm. The catwalk will live with the show at WOW Presents Plus from autumn 2027 and return to Broadcasting House for three weekends a year. Neither party may describe the other as "basic" in public.

Last week's split came with the usual talk of an amicable parting and budget pressures, which anyone who has ever been dumped will recognise as the corporate phrase for "it's not you, it's my licence fee". Variety confirmed the show returns as an All Stars series on World of Wonder's streamer. The BBC confirmed it keeps the house, by which it means the building, and the sofa, by which it means the Breakfast one.

"The lip sync is a shared asset," a person familiar with the paperwork told SnarkWire. "Both sides get it on alternate Tuesdays. Nobody gets the fan."

Insiders say the BBC has already started dating again. It was spotted on Tuesday night with a three-part documentary about a canal, which friends describe as lovely, very steady, and not a lot of sequins.

The show, meanwhile, has posted three selfies from the WOW offices in a row and captioned none of them. Sources say it looks incredible and has never been happier. Sources say this every time.
