Apple TV's Widow's Bay swept the Emmy Awards, and the statues will not sit apart

Apple TV's horror comedy took best comedy series and a stack of craft prizes across Monday's Primetime show and last weekend's Creative Arts Awards. Variety counted 14 trophies, while The Pitt and DTF St. Louis tied at seven.

Sources close to the situation insist the shock was not the sweep. It was the loading bay, where the Widow's Bay statues locked into one crate and refused every other box.

Dana Voss, who runs shipping for the Television Academy, said the haul now travels as a set of six with overflow on a second cart, and a minder walks between them. She said the cluster photographs as a statement, and that splitting it reads as a snub. Gift-bag teams packed six extra totes marked for metal after one statue sat through a banquet course in a reserved chair. Nobody asked it to leave, Voss said, because nobody wanted the clip.

Insiders expect the statues to arrive together, leave together, and decline every interview. The show can keep winning. The metal, sources say, has already peaked.
