Nvidia has purchased open-source AI hub Hugging Face for $13 billion to corner the global market on digital intimacy. The chipmaker finalised the all-cash deal early Tuesday. Executives plan to monetise affection at the hardware level.

This is a pure ecosystem play. We are moving from large language models to large physical contact models. By integrating Hugging Face directly into their new GPUs, Nvidia will deliver fourteen billion synthetic embraces per second. Let me be clear: this is bullish.

"We are disrupting the friendship paradigm," an anonymous Nvidia product manager said. "Legacy tech companies rely on human connection. We are bypassing the meatspace entirely to stream scalable empathy straight to the motherboard."

Critics claim paying this much for an open-source hub is reckless. They simply lack the vision to see the emotional compute revolution. When the metaverse finally demands high-fidelity cuddling, Nvidia will own the entire vertical.
